Just remember, there is always option C:
- C: I stay in my current job and I manage my transition to a new activity

What was really important for me? I was ripe for a move towards an activity that was in keeping with my integrity and values. With a wife and 3 boys, their education and our retirement are a concern.

the beauty of this, is you are promoting the products or services of a company whose values you share. It’s all about integrity as far as I am concerned. For every sale you make, you earn a commission. Most companies that sell online these days realise that alone, it is difficult for them to succeed in reaching out to their target market.
They therefore very often use a network of intermediaries or “affiliates”. The affiliates do not have to deal with matters of invoicing the customer or shipping and fulfilment.
YOU, as an affiliate, concentrate on targeting potential customers with online marketing campaigns.
E-Commerce:
It could be, that YOU already have your service or your product to offer to a target market out there. It doesn’t even have to be something you have invented yourself. YOU could be sourcing an existing generic product, adapting it for your target market and re-branding it as your own.
Again, no obligation to handle packaging, invoicing, shipping and fulfilment. You could go through Amazon FBA who will assist you with these aspects.
YOU will be concentrating on effectively marketing your product(s) with Advertising campaigns.
What does your success depend on?
First thing’s first. Let’s get real. When you are upskilling, you have to expect to roll up your sleeves and learn the art.
No shortcuts.
If you want to do this in parallel with your existing activity, then you have to make time for the learning process.
In my eyes, cutting corners is potentially depriving yourself of gaining valuable knowledge that you could apply when building your online business from scratch.
Yes, it is possible to succeed. I and indeed thousands of others have gone through this program and managed the transition to a digital lifestyle, without shaking up my world.
Success is never guaranteed in this life
Especially for people who come in half-hearted.
